First American Harvest has given me so much more than job training.
After losing his job and housing, Neal earned his forklift certification, gained hands-on experience loading donation trucks, and now gives back at community outreach events.

Our vision

First American Harvest is a mission-driven nonprofit logistics network. We partner with corporations, nonprofits and local organizations to recover surplus food, household essentials, personal care items and clothing, then move them to the communities that need them most.
Our work sits where logistics, sustainability and community meet. Every pallet we redirect from a landfill becomes relief for a family today. Every person we train in our warehouses builds a path to stable work tomorrow.
Our work
Five programs, one system. Outreach meets urgent needs now, while workforce development and supportive services help people move forward for good.

Large-scale distributions bring food, hygiene products, clothing and household essentials directly to families in underserved communities, bi-weekly.

We recover surplus goods from corporate partners and move them to vetted nonprofits nationwide.

Rapid deployment of critical supplies when emergencies strike, alongside the American Red Cross.

Hands-on training in logistics, warehousing and transportation, with a pathway to careers at Walmart.

Connecting people to housing, transportation and essential resources that make stability last.
National reach
Active operations in ten states, a logistics backbone built for high-volume donations, and the ability to deploy nationwide when disaster strikes.
National partnership
Through our national partnership, surplus from Walmart becomes essentials for families who need them, and graduates of our workforce program become candidates for Walmart supply-chain careers.
